Clarinets
Year 3 have really enjoyed their clarinet lessons which have been taking place every Thursday! We have had so much fun and are beginning to play different notes independently!
Greek Plates
Year 3 have been using clay to create their own Greek plates! We looked for design ideas and then created our own. We used sticks to carve our patterns and pictures into the clay. We are waiting for our clay to dry so we can paint our plates! Watch out for updates on Twitter @BoarshawP
Greek Dances!
Year 3 created a Greek dance to please the Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece! They decided to use the famous myth of Theseus and Minotaur and performed their dances to music!
Wings of Icarus!

Greek Vases
Year 3 looked at Greek artefacts and investigated the colours and patterns which were very common. We used this as inspiration for our own Greek vases. We designed and made our own Greek vases, thinking carefully about what pictures and patterns we could use.
The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch!
Year 3 took part in the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch. Pupils made their own birdfeeders to hang up round school and in their own gardens at home. We went out and watched to see how many birds we could spot! Miss Riaz will feedback our results to the RSPB.
