During week two, one of our favourite things was our PE lesson.
In our first PE session, we played lots of exciting games with the parachute!
First we had to wake the parachute! It had been very sleepy and we had to shake it slowly then quickly to make sure it had woken up properly! We then learnt how to raise the parachute above our heads so that some of us could run underneath and swap places with our friends. We had to be really careful that we didn't bump into anybody. Finally, we played the game 'Pop the Popcorn'. Where we had to pop the popcorn (balls) off the parachute. This was a little tricky as our arms soon got achey!
We also learnt all about babies and what we were like as babies. Thank you to all of those that brought or sent in baby photogrpahs, toys or clothes that we could share with our friends. It was interesting to hear what the children remembered or knew about babies.
Lots of children drew pictures of themselves as babies and could identify baby clothes, toys, etc from a wide variety of items. Our friend Zara (puppet) was keen to hear our idea as she did not know much about this. We enjoyed teaching her new things!
