As part of our topic this term 'The Scented Garden', Year 2 have been planting seeds. We worked in small groups to plant vegetables and herbs. We discussed the ideal habitat for a plant to grow. We used soil, seeds and water. As a class we decided to place our seeds on our class window sill until they are ready to be planted in the outdoor garden. Our seeds need lots of sunlight and warmth to grow. We are looking forward to watching our plants grow and we will be keeping a class diary.
