I may look a little scared but it was a very large bird of prey!! Our topic, Predators was kick started last week with a visit from a variety birds of prey. The children listened and asked questions to find put about the different types of owls. There were barn owls, tawny owls and even a raptor owl. The chidlrfen were able to hold one of the birds and also to experience the raptor flying low over their line of bodies. The children watched the birds fly for food and even a barn owl that returned when its name, Bubbles was called. The children certainly gained alot of knowledge about these birds of prey.
