The children in Year 3 Octopus were given a challenge!  They had to program the Beebots to move from one object to another.  They could use a left and right turn, forward or backward.  They had a great fun and had to use their knowledge of algorithms as well as estimation.  The children had to write their own algorithm and then test it out.  If it did not work, they had to de bug it and try it again.  It was a great technology lesson.
