Year 3 performed their class assembly to the school and parents. They told the story of St George, explaining who he was and what he had done. The children acted out the Myth of St George of how he slayed a dragon to save the princess. They all had a speaking part during the assembly and did very well. They completed the assembly with a St George dragon song and also added actions. The children showed off their St Georges flags they had made and took them home to celebrate St George’s day at home. The children also wrote about St George in class as well to act out the story. It was a great assembly. Well done Year 3.
