Science Week
We created space rockets using paper, card and felt. As a class we decided to try and fly our rockets. We used the coke and mentos challenge to create the push force under the rocket. We ended up covered in coke but it was very eductaional. We found that the paper rockets ripped really easily and the card rockets shot up higher. It was an excellent challenge. We timed each challenge and discussed our findings and conclusions.
As a class we have enjoyed science week and learning about Space. Tomorrow we will be writing newspaper reports about Apollo 11. Check our class blog to see some more of our work.
