Foundation Stage have really enjoyed learning about St Geroge's Day today. 

We started the day by learning about who Saint George was and the famous story about him slaying the evil dragon. We then learned some interesting facts about why we celebrate St George's Day and enjoyed making lots of things related to the event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We dressed up as Knights and used small world toys to act out the story. We also designed and made our very own shields to use for role play of the story! 

We decorated the St George's day emblem and waved them around in the wind to celebrate this lovely day.
