Year 3 Seahorses had some very special visitors today! The beautiful birds of prey came to visit us from Wise Owl Bird Sanctuary. They brought with them a variety of birds including the barn owl, little owl, eagle owl, harris hawk and American Kestral. The birds started off our topic in a very memorable way. We will be learning all about these amazing predators over this half term. We found out many amazing facts and then got to see the birds fly round the hall. The barn owl was so silent we couldn't hear it coming! The harris hawk flew right over us when we were lay down on the ground - but never touched us. We then got the chance to hold these fantastic birds. This is an experience we definitely won't forget!
